Making the Cancer Journey Less Difficult
Cancer can bring challenges that go far beyond medical treatment. Patients and their families may face financial pressure, emotional stress, difficulties in accessing essential support and uncertainty about what comes next.
At Shreebalaji Cancer Care Foundation, our work is focused on helping people affected by cancer navigate these challenges with greater support, dignity and hope.
For nearly a decade, we have been working with children, adults and families affected by cancer, with a commitment to provide compassionate assistance and connect people with the support they need.
Supporting Patients & Families
Our work begins with understanding the needs of the person and the family behind the diagnosis.
We strive to facilitate meaningful support for patients facing the practical and emotional challenges associated with cancer. Depending on individual circumstances and available programmes, this may include assistance related to treatment, essential needs, guidance and family support.
We also recognise the important role of caregivers. Families often carry a significant part of the emotional and practical burden of cancer, and they too deserve understanding, encouragement and support.

Creating Awareness & Encouraging Early Action
Awareness is an important part of the fight against cancer. Understanding risk factors, recognising potential warning signs and seeking appropriate medical advice at the right time can make a meaningful difference.
Through awareness initiatives and community engagement, we aim to encourage people to learn more about cancer and take their health seriously.
Our message is simple:
Know the risks. Recognise the signs. Seek medical advice. Don't ignore your health.
We believe that creating informed communities is an important step towards reducing fear, encouraging timely medical attention and strengthening the fight against cancer.
Extending Support Through Every Stage
The cancer journey does not end with a diagnosis—and it does not necessarily end when treatment is completed.
Our work seeks to recognise the different stages patients and families may experience, including diagnosis, treatment, recovery, rehabilitation and survivorship.
For people facing advanced illness, compassionate and supportive care can also play an important role in maintaining comfort and dignity.
We work towards a support system where people affected by cancer can feel that they have someone beside them—not only during the most difficult moments, but throughout their journey.
